Get To Know

Monique Craft

Growing up in a military family meant moving around a lot, so I understand the emotional and physical challenges involved in moving to a new home. I have lived in various places throughout the world, such as England and France where I learned to speak fluent French, but I finally settled in Northern Virginia and have lived in Springfield for the past 30 years. As a result, I have seen this entire area grow and change tremendously, and am intimately familiar with the Washington Metropolitan area and all it has to offer.I am a graduate of West Springfield High School and hold a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting from George Mason University; however, I’ve been interested in real estate for as long as I can remember. Before I became a realtor, I enjoyed looking at houses and keeping up with the value of homes. So, when I received my license in 1990, I quit my “real” job (Accountant) in 1994 to pursue real estate full time.

All of my clients will attest to the fact that I am professional, dedicated and hard working, and that I care about the people with whom I work. Also, I am very committed to making my clients’ objectives a priority. I sincerely believe in working hard to make your move easy, and will devote myself to serving your needs before, during and after each transaction. In addition, I regularly attend seminars and classes to improve my skills and ability to serve your needs. As a result, my business has grown consistently over the years. My distinctions since 2004 include Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Top Producer, and Weichert’s Chairman of the Board Elite Club. I am also in the top one percent of agents nationwide, and rank in the top 20 of Weichert’s agents in the Washington Metropolitan area. Since 2008, I have been one of Weichert's top producing agents. While my sales have resulted from listings and purchases all over Northern Virginia, more than 80% of my business is based on referrals and repeat business, including many military transfers.

As my volume has grown, I have assembled a support team to assist me with administration and office management, as well as staging, accounting, marketing and business management. These members of my team share my commitment to excellence and customer service, and will do everything they can to help prepare your home for sale or help you with your home purchase.

Community Involvement

  • I also care a lot about Springfield, our local schools and giving back to the community. I have been a member of our school’s Parent Teachers Association (PTA) for many years, and was involved with a group to secure needed renovations for West Springfield High School. I also sponsor an annual community clean up in my neighborhood which has become very popular.
